Estimated Reward Calculator (#30)

To implement a calculator which you enter your average GHS/THS and it will display amount you will get as a reward per, hour, day, month, year to work out which miner it is worth getting when purchasing one.

Later versions could include power usage etc.

  • It is not so hard to calculate it yourself from the data available here. Also you can find many calculators online.

  • Honestly, I would be happy to have a link to an existing calculator, however I see the advantage of not clogging up your browser with extra tabs.

  • Calculator should show Estimated Reward per block. The Pool Statistics -> System Stats page already does it's best to indicate how many blocks will be found over time.

  • Acctual income depends on which pool you are mining with, some pools pay in different ways, and pay more, others don't, so just because I have 1.2THS doesn't mean I will make the same amount in every pool, so having a calculator showing the amount may draw more people to come mine here.

  • There are such calculators available freely on internet. What would make sense to me (it would be more related to the pool) is to estimate rewards based on user's hash rate (1 hour or 1 day average). What do you think? Comment or edit the proposal, please. Thanks.
