Rewards Chart, BTC Price, Language Flags (#2)

Graph on the Rewards Page

It would be interesting to able to show Different averages on the graph. Such as 7 day (current), 14 day, and 30 day for example.

BTC Price

Would it be hard to code a small heading that shows the current BTC price? For example CaVirtex: XXXX (four digits, thinking positive ;) ) where you could have several exchanges to chose from, maybe selectable form the setup page.

Language Flags

I'd love to see the US and Canadian flags ;)

  • The BTC price is already exists. Admittedly, it would be interesting to see different reward averages for different time periods, but with the slowness that these proposals have been being implemented, I think we should focus whatever resources are available on things that can improve the profit the pool and it's members will make. Anything that involves merge mining will increase the revenue passing through the pool, which will increase the amount that the pool makes on mining fees (without raising the rates, I might add) and therefor will give the pool more resources to work with to implement "comfort" proposals like this: that is, proposals that are good ideas, but do not affect the pool's bottom line.

  • Different averages would indeed be interesting. BTC price is already displayed in several currencies at the top middle/top left of the website... Is there any reason for having different flags for the same language? (I personally believe that American English and European English are different enough to be considered different dialects of the same language {for example, the difference between the meaning of "pants" in the UK and the USA could lead to some degree of confusion/embarrassment}, But is it really necessary to display the flags?) I feel that having the single flag is quite sufficient.

  • I'm hoping this proposal will post the price of BTC from Stamp/BTC-e the moment a block is found or confirmed; for tax purposes. This would be very helpful for those of us who will end up having more than 10 TH/s. I will ultimately end up with a little over 160 TH/s by this time next year. I really need this to make it easier for tax purposes. This will be an attractive draw to other miners with fairly large farms to want to come here and mine at Slush. It is a pain to have to research the price of btc once a block is found for tax purposes. The reason I say, "research," I'm not sitting around watching for the very moment a block is found to write down the price of BTC for that block for tax purposes. Your assistance on this would honestly make this an attractive draw for those of us with fairly large farms and/or working towards getting large. It's just a matter of time before I get a loan from my bank for 140 TH/s in S4's or S5's.

  • Canadian and American are dialects of English, hence the English flag for language. After all you colonials got your independence (Throwing perfectly good tea into Boston harbour, tsk, tsk, tsk.. You still owe us for that...), you don't get your own language.
