Today, Cloudflare together with Tavis Ormandy from Google disclosed a Heartbleed-like security issue with Cloudflare’s servers. More information about the vulnerability, which has since been fixed, can be found on the Cloudflare Incident Report Blog and on Google’s Project Zero.
Apology for servers outage
Miners, human errors happen and they happen to us, too. (Fortunately, rarely!).
We would like to apologize for today's short-lived outage of multiple servers. The issue was caused by a bug in the latest update of our stratum software, impacting most of the pool's stratum servers. We have realized that the new version was not fully operational and immediately reverted back to the previous stable version. Unfortunately, our test suite did not discover the bug in the testing phase before the actual release. We will amend our testing scenario to avoid similar errors in the future. Since no block was found during the outage, it did not have any impact on the distribution of your rewards.
Thank you for being with us and happy mining!
